The Diary of a Brand Addict

Legalize LA

I like to wear solid colors. I also like to pay extra for quality clothes with a mission. That’s why I shop at American Apparel.

The clothing company has a vision called Legalize LA Basically, it’s a program to give legal and illegal immigrants a living wage without outsourcing. It’s a vertical business structure. Whatever you buy from this factory will be completely made from scrap to seam in one building. While it may be liberal, I’m still buying a shirt or a pair of shorts that was made in my country with a living wage.

The product is good too. All of the company’s clothes are vibrant and durable. I own several shirts from American Apparel and I’m very pleased with the product I pay for.

But of course, there are others who don’t agree with the same immigration policies myself and American Apparel do.
