The Diary of a Brand Addict

Pashmina Scarves

Now that the cool weather has remained for a while in Gainesville, I can write this blog in good conscience.

About two years ago, my mother returned from her trip to New York with a beautiful and bright yellow Pashmina scarf. I wasn’t really aware that the label meant too much, but I eagerly wore it when the cool weather rolled around that December.

It was so soft! Definitely not the old grandma’s scarf that leaves my neck feeling itchy and stifling hot. My Pashmina was breathable and kept me just toasty enough to carry me through the frigid cold of December in Florida (yes, I know, not that bad).

The scarves are pretty versatile, too. Since they aren’t made from a heavy material (a very fine grade of cashmere wool), I can wear them in other seasons.

They cost a pretty penny, but they last forever and they can be worn all the time. Plus, the true internet-savvy people can get them for a bargain, which is often much less than their $80 plus price tag.
